January 2012. Reviewing 2011, we added a new extension to our headwear in our Teens section. This follows the success of our first Beaconsfield High School hat design competition for Teenage Cancer Trust. In addition to the winning hats designed by the students being sold in aid of the charity, we also have a selection of hats chosen by teenagers. We continue to develop our ideas and selection of useful products. In 2011, we became stockists of the Lepel Athena soft non-wired bra. Our newest product is our Wynter cape. Our first designs match one of our Kelly fabulous baker boy hats and two designs match our gorgeous Liberty headscarves. The cape shawls are suitable to wear indoors or outdoors for extra warmth. We also introduced our Cheryl silk scarves, in pink, lilac and blue. During September, we were once again pleased to support the Lymphoma Association with a wide selection of purple gifts including our Capry headscarves and our new silk scarves. It was an extremely busy summer as we attended 11 Race for Life events this summer, with our hats and scarves being sold, in aid of Cancer Research UK. With our wonderful British seamstresses, we introduced more gorgeous Liberty print headscarves, our new fabulous Kelly baker boy hats, gorgeous Cheryl silk scarves and most recently, our Wynter cape.

December 2011. We have a large selection of hats designed by Jo and made by her British seamstresses. If you are looking for a gift this Christmas for a friend or relative who has cancer, you may wish to choose one of our lovely Liberty print headscarves. Alternatively, with the cold snap, either our wool blend fabulous Kelly baker boy hats or our faux fur fleece hats provide a great treat that can be worn for many years. This year we introduced the Wynter wool blend cape, to provide a easy to wear stylish and warm cape for inside or to add a lightweight layer when going out. Finally, we have gorgeous silk scarves. Both our loop silk scarves in hot pink, shimmering lilac and floral blue. Also we have introduced a range of 'pre worn' silk scarves, at the time of writing we had Jaegar silk scarves for sale. See Jashcroft.co.uk for the full range of Christmas gift ideas.

November 2011. You can try on our hats at the Beaconsfield High School Christmas Fair on Saturday 19th from 10am til 2pm. We will have our fabulous baker boy hats, cute berets and warm faux fur and fleece hats. We will also have the Lepel soft non wired bras and our new winter wool cape.

This month, our purple gifts are being sold with 15% of the proceeds benefitting the Lymphoma Association. Alice Strudwick, director of fundraising at the Lymphoma Association said: This year our Lymphatic Cancer Awareness Week is being held from 12 to 18 September so we are delighted and incredibly grateful that Jo has decided to support us during this month. The aim of the week is to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of lymphoma and also to raise vital funds for our charity so we can continue to provide our free services to anyone affected by lymphatic cancer.

September 2011. Jo Ashcroft of 4myhead.com Limited, a South Bucks-based designer of hats and scarves, is pleased to announce that for the second year, Beaconsfield High School (BHS) Year 7 students will be designing and making a hat for teenagers who are being treated for cancer. The winning design from last year′s competition is now available as the ″Phlly″ style, with proceeds from each of these hats sold in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

Through this competition, students are enhancing their learning about Textiles Technology, enabling them to make informed choices for designing their hats. Jo Ashcroft, founder of 4myhead.com, said: ″We started this competition last year and had fantastic support from BHS and Teenage Cancer Trust. The quality, thought and care that went into the hat designs was fantastic. I am very pleased that we will be asking the new students for a design that will add to our collection from last year′s winning style.″

Highlights from the last competition included having Lucy Siegle as a special guest to judge the finals, the BHS fashion show where Jo′s hats and those designed and made by the students were modelled and raising nearly £1,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.

August 2011. Isobel and Connie will be helping if you are looking for lightweight material for headscarves and hats during the summer months.
